The BRC1 (Basic Rider Course 1) covers the basics of operating a motorcycle and safety-oriented mental strategies. This course consists of:

  1. a 5-hr computer-based training eCourse to be completed online and within 30 days of, and prior to, any class-related scheduled in-person meeting or riding range activity
  2. a required series of 4 short pre-course preparation videos, each with required course waivers, documents & forms for handing in to PROMCT and/or for reviewing during the videos
  3. a required 15-30 minute in-person Meet 'n Greet / QA session at a location in the Muskego area (details are in the registration email, and is typically the Thursday night prior to the first (1st) range day) *
  4. 11 hrs of on-range motorcycle riding sessions conducted typically over two (5.5 hrs / ea) days, including a skills test at the end of the last range day

* if unable to make this session, contact PROMCT for other options

Successful completion of this course waives the road-test requirement for the "M" endorsement on your license in Wisconsin (and most other states). The course may also earn you an insurance discount (depending on your insurance company).

The course fee is inclusive of all costs including: the online eCourse, training motorcycles, and taxes
